I’m hoping in the future we could celebrate unions of people in love, but I’m pretty sure we are light years away from attaining this openness to celebrate such union. It’s just sad how pious we are but morally and ethically backwards…always thinking what is right (by the book…literally and figuratively) and always absorbed in our culture’s own bubble of taboo.

It’s hard being different here in our country. I just hope that we wouldn’t need to fly out just to be free.
